Moroccan Roast

I am blessed to work with a group of women who are enthusiastic and talented cooks. We are always sharing recipes and trying new ones out on each other. I got this one from my friend Evie, who is a new mom and understands the value of a make ahead dinner. This recipe has become a favorite at my house; all four of us love it!

Moroccan Roast

1 medium sized roast (Evie uses beef, I usually use pork)
1 jar of smooth picante sauce
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
chili powder

Mix, picante sauce, sugar, and soy sauce in the crockpot. Rub chili powder all over the roast (use a lot!). Put the roast in the crockpot and cook on low all day. Serve over couscous.
